First up for my 2015 / 2016 wedding season were Megan and Jeremy! They chose the good people at Wigram Base in Hornby to host their wedding and reception. A few days before their wedding I stopped by Wigram Base to meet their wedding coordinator Ashleigh, and see how their refurbishments had gone – I was blown away. The buildings have a classic retro boutique vibe and the restoration work has really made this place shine.
On the morning of the wedding I started at Megan’s parent’s place with the girls before catching up with the guys at Wigram Base. It was great to see blue skies appearing just as the guests were arriving! The ceremony was held onsite in St Mark’s Chapel, which dates back to 1940. The chapel is cosy and intimate – perfect for a winter wedding.
The festivities were topped off with delicious food and great speeches. Hearing the page boy Ryan encouraging his Dad Rob when he was giving his bestman’s speech was a definite highlight.
