I’ve had the joy of photographing Hema and Ethan every year for quite a few years now – from their Port Hills engagement, to their beautiful wedding at St. Teresa of Lisieux Church, family portraits at the Botanic Gardens, and their maternity session at Pines Beach just recently. This time felt extra special as I welcomed them into my home studio for newborn photos with their little girl. Catching up with them always feels like seeing old friends.
Lillian was just seven days new, born by C-section, and the sweetest little bundle. Super snuggly and calm, we paused for cuddles and feeds as needed, letting her lead the way. These early days are so fleeting, and I love being able to capture the quiet beauty of them.
It’s been so special to get to know Hema and Ethan over the years, and each session feels like another piece of their story. This one, celebrating their first days as parents, was one of the sweetest yet.
