I’m writing this before even seeing our wedding photos. Mandy was like a super hero, not only getting all the photos we needed, but helping make sure the wedding itself was going smoothly. Mandy saved the day on our improvised video capture of the ceremony, her attention to details helped me and my groomsmen look sharp, she gave emotional support to my partner, and helped bring life to the party. Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a typical wedding investment?
Half day (~ four hours) wedding coverage starts from $2990 NZD, with custom options available depending on your day. For full pricing and availability, please send me a message and I’ll send through my current guide.
Do you capture elopements & shorter weddings?
Absolutely! I am a big fan of intimate weddings. Let me know if this is what you have in mind and I can customise a quote to suit your plans 🤍
Do you work with a second shooter?
Most weddings I photograph solo, but second shooters are available as an add-on. They’re especially handy for larger weddings (120+ guests) or if you’d like coverage in two places at once – for example during group photos / cocktail hour and bride / groom prep in the morning.
Can we meet before the wedding?
Yes, I’d love that. We can meet over coffee if you’re local, or hop on a video call if you’re further away. It’s always nice to connect before the day.
Do you help with wedding timelines?
Definitely – I’m happy to suggest timing that works well for portraits, light, and keeping things relaxed.
How long do we need for portraits?
Ideally allow about an hour, and if possible, I love sneaking away with you at golden hour when the light is soft and dreamy. We can also break the portraits into two shorter parts if that suits your flow better.
How long until we get our wedding photos?
Weddings are delivered in 8–12 weeks depending on the season. I take care to make sure every gallery is thoughtfully edited and reflects the full story of your day.
Do you provide high-resolution images?
Yes – all final images are delivered in both high-res (for printing) and low-res (for online use) via a private online gallery.
Can we print our images through you?
Yes – your gallery will have a print shop built in with beautiful fine art prints, albums, and framed pieces available.
Can we have the raw files?
I don’t provide raw files, as editing is a huge part of my creative process. The final images you receive are carefully selected and refined to tell your story in the most beautiful way.
Who owns the copyright of our images?
I retain copyright, but you’re welcome to download, print, and share your images for personal use as much as you like.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is quoted based on distance and includes things like mileage, flights, accommodation, and car hire when needed. I’ll give you a full breakdown before you book.
My story
My journey as a photographer began when a friend bought my plane tickets home to New Zealand to photograph her wedding in 2011! She tied the knot in beautiful style in the heart of the South Island and I discovered the magic of capturing life’s most cherished moments. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of documenting beautiful weddings in Christchurch and throughout New Zealand and Australia.
